“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”  (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Colossians 2:8)

As the above two passages suggest, it is easy for us to be deceived by false teaching and to be led astray from the truth of God’s Word. It is a very challenging time to be a Christian, and much of what the Bible teaches seems to oppose the values of the world around us, sometimes dramatically!  Held every 3rd Sunday before church (9:00 AM – 9:50 AM) in the Sir John A. MacDonald Room, Faith Explored will provide an opportunity for individuals to wrestle with age old questions as well as hot topics and current issues faced by believers today, in the context of Scripture and faith.  Look for an exciting new topic and guest teacher every month.  For more information about this new discipleship ministry, please speak to the Rector.
